Suarez leads Ajax into second

First-place Twente tied PSV Eindhoven 1-1 on Saturday, and Ajax took advantage to move into second and within just four points of the top spot.

Suarez scored both goals during a four-goal second half for Ajax.

AZ Alkmaar earned its 15th win of the season, getting a goal from David Mendes Da Silva in the fourth minute of a 1-0 win over Sparta at Sparta-Stadion Het Kasteel.

Ajilore Oluwafemi's second-minute goal was enough for Groningen to defeat Roda 1-0 at Euroborg Stadion, and Den Haag and Venlo tied 0-0 at Het Zuiderpark.
